Mineesh is an experienced clinician (Neuroradiologist) and emerging executive. Mineesh's perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing healthcare are informed by roles as Clinical Director of Radiology, Box Hill Hospital Imaging (2011 - current), with previous roles as Consultant Radiologist - Western Health, Monash Health and MRI Fellow/Monash Health Principal Radiology Registrar (2005-2006).

In these roles, Mineesh has been instrumental to the development and implementation of new systems and services to keep a pace with crushing demand whilst also bettering clinical outcomes. Being a regular speaker at multiple annual Eastern Health conferences and also in his role as a lecturer for Monash University, Mineesh practices his belief of “giving back” to the medical community with ongoing teaching to Radiology, Emergency and Medical registrars.

Mineesh’s foray into business is motivated by a desire to see generational change in the way healthcare is delivered.  Mineesh holds an MBBS (Dean’s List Honours), University of Adelaide and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ian is a seasoned international executive with over 45+ years of experience in business information technology and 20 years in senior CIO & business roles.  Ian brings extensive knowledge of building web-based mission-critical business and medical related applications on robust global platforms. 

This has included Global Chief Information Officer for International SOS (2000-2003) overseeing global expansion of mission critical solutions in over 50 countries. Prior to this, Ian served as Director of Operations Support and CIO for Datacraft Asia Limited which grew revenue from USD$60 - $600M, expanded from 6 to 13 countries and subsequently listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX) (1995 - 2001).  

Ian has extensive experience in managing complex cross-functional projects in an international setting, bringing together business and technology people to deliver customer facing solutions on a global scale.

Ian gained his strategic grounding through an esteemed Army career as Signals officer in the Australian Army Reserve with both command and staff appointments.   Ian has served on several charitable boards including the Penguin Foundation, Philip Island RSL and Phillip Island Nature Parks. Ian holds a Bachelor of Business and Diploma of Business IT/Data Processing.

Paul is also a director of Grimsey Wealth Melbourne and Sydney with well over 30 years' experience in the financial services industry specialising in business and taxation services.  Paul holds a number of qualifications including Bachelor of Business (Acc), Diploma of Financial Services, Public Practice Certificate holder and fellow member of the Institute of Public Accountants (FIPA FFA).

Grimsey Wealth has been providing specialist business services to Medical and para medical professionals for over 35 years including practice acquisition, restructure, investment portfolio management, finance services and the group is a holder of an AFSL and Credit licence. 

Paul, as a director and member of the Grimsey board, has overseen the growth of the Grimsey brand in a Victoria and NSW. Grimsey today is a leader in specialised business services to specialist medical and para medical professionals.

As a diversified boutique business group Paul holds a key strategic interest and role in further developing the Grimsey brand in Australia and within the medical and para medical community.

 

Mr. Brendan Cheong - CIPO

Brendan is an Australian patent and trade mark attorney with a computer systems engineering and computer science background. He has been practising in the field of Intellectual Property for over 20 years, including private practice experience in overseas and Australian private practice firms, and in-house IP strategy and management experience in local and ASX listed multinational companies. 

In his current role as Principal IP Advisor at Anglo-Australian mining company, Rio Tinto, Brendan manages an IP portfolio comprising close to 2000 patents and a range of copyright, trade secrets, know-how and other proprietary intangible assets. Brendan has been listed in Intellectual Asset Management's IAM Strategy 300: The World’s Leading IP Strategists index for three consecutive years (2018, 2019, 2020).

Brendan brings to the company a proven record in IP strategy execution, risk management, protection, and exploitation. Additionally, he adds to the company's strategic management and leadership talent, gained from his responsibilities over the past 10 years as a Signals officer in the Australian Army Reserves. Brendan currently sits on the council of the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark attorneys of Australia (IPTA).
